On Tails and Linux in general, the name of configuration files often starts with a dot and are sometimes called [[!wikipedia dotfiles]] for this reason. The Dotfiles feature of the Persistent Storage makes it easy to persist such "*dotfiles*", for example */home/amnesia/.gitconfig* or */home/amnesia/.bashrc*.
Sur Tails et Linux en général, le nom des fichiers de configuration commence souvent par un point et ces fichiers sont parfois appelés [[!wikipedia_fr Fichier_et_répertoire_caché desc="dotfiles"]] pour cette raison. La fonctionnalité Dotfiles du stockage persistant permet de conserver facilement de tels "« *dotfiles*" », par exemple */home/amnesia/.gitconfig* ou */home/amnesia/.bashrc*.
