I also wondered but couldn't find a definitive answer only. Previously we were using title case. Wikipedia is fine with sentence case. Tor is not consistent in their use. So I went for sentence case. There might still be some title case in old news but the rest should be consistent now.

Good catch! I'm submitted https://gitlab.tails.boum.org/tails/tails/-/merge_requests/1780 to switch to tails.net.

The GitLab link works fine for me today. I don't think it changed.

I think so. The linked image is our old logo.

It's common in technical writing to capitalize the name of products or important features. That's why we write "Persistent Storage" and not "persistent storage": https://tails.net/contribute/how/documentation/style_guide/#persistent-storage.

There are some debates about what deserves capitalization or not within the industry, though: https://www.reddit.com/r/ProductManagement/comments/mqjth3/arguments_for_and_against_capitalizing_feature/.

So, I think that what matters here is consistency and we've capitalized the Welcome Screen until now.

Here I'm explaining to the reader what is two-factor authentication (2FA). Even though 2FA, it's pretty common these days, different websites use different terminology and tools, and I suspect the whole thing to need such an explanation to put less techie readers in context. As such, I prefer referring to the most common and well-know app for TOTP, which seems to be Google Authenticator. We're not recommending to use Google Authenticator in Tails.

Good point. I'm using "disk" because it's closer to the string displayed to the user: "Synchronizing data on disk...". But this string itself is pretty bad, so I created https://gitlab.tails.boum.org/tails/tails/-/issues/20392 to work on this at some point.
