To remember the password for Wi-Fi networks and custom network configurations across different Tails sessions, turn on the [[Network Connections|persistent_storage/configure#network_connections]] feature of the Persistent Storage.
To modify your network settings, for example, to configure whether or not to automatically connect to a Wi-Fi network, choose **Apps ▸ System Tools ▸ Settings ▸ Network**.
The content of the USB stick is lost in the operation, but an attacker might still be able to tell that Tails was installed on that USB stick using [[data recovery techniques|doc/encryption_and_privacy/secure_deletion]].
